Atelier de Balthus Incense Boxde Astier de Villatte recreates the suspended atmosphere of a painter’s studio: wood, canvases, paint tubes and cool light moving gently through the space. It is an artistic, intimate and deeply evocative incense, filled with texture, smoke and memory.
Its scent blends Spanish turpentine, Texan cedar and Indonesian patchouli with nuances of smoke, honey, woods, tobacco and cedarwood. Made on Japan’s Awaji Island, it comes in a box of approximately 125 sticks, each burning for around 30 minutes.
